Beef Quarters and Halves

All of our beef bundles must be pre-ordered. You can call us to specify your order such as how many pounds of hamburger to wrap in each pack, how many steaks in each pack, how thick to cut your steaks along with some other important details.

  • Front Quarter (1/4) .... (175 lb average).
    Includes Ribeye, Chuck Roasts, Arm Roasts, Soup Bones, Ground Beef
  • Hind Quarter (1/4) .... (175 lb average).
    Includes Sirloin Steak, T-bones and Porterhouse Steak, Round Steak, Sirloin Tip Roasts, Rump Roasts, Soup Bones, Ground Beef
  • Side Half (1/2) .... (300 - 350 lb average).
    Includes everything in a Front Quarter and Hind Quarter

How to Order a Beef Bundle?

USDA Choice Angus Beef. Cut and wrapped to your order. Expect 1/3 cutting loss. Call us to place your order for a meat bundle.

Here is what we need to know in order to prepare your order. Items you can get with each beef bundle: Hamburger, Ribeye Steaks, T-Bone Steaks, Roasts, Soup Bones.

  • How many pounds of ground beef do you want wrapped in each package?
  • How large do you want each roast to be, in pounds?
  • How thick should we cut your steaks? Average size is 3/4" thick.
  • How many steaks should we wrap in each package?
  • Would you like soup bones or do you want that meat ground into hamburger?

Why is Lumber Jack so popular?
Simple! The flavor of any tree is in the Metabolites or cambium layer of the growing tree. This means that all BBQ pellets made from residual sawdust as a by-product are generally comprised of the core kiln dried wood.  For example, the sawdust from a hickory furniture or hammer handle factory is void of flavor or has only a very weak carryover from the growth in the cambium layer. When the old timers smoked meat and fish they did not take the bark off the wood they gathered for this very same reason. We are a round log plant which means we harvest actual trees and chip them up as green chips, with full flavor to make our BBQ pellets.
